Grace Marie Guerra Urciolo

Grace Marie Guerra Urciolo, 97, of Huntingtown, MD passed away on April 6, 2020 in Prince Frederick, MD. Born on January 4, 1923 in Washington, DC, she was the loving daughter of the late Frank and Santa Maria Arameanian Guerra. Grace attended Central High School, only a few blocks from her parents’ home on Georgia Avenue behind their Howard Delicatessen. She worked in the deli with her family and later, together with her brother Louie, owned and operated the deli until 1988. Grace was loved by the community and is commemorated along with the deli on a plaque on Georgia Avenue. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Urciolo, who she loved, as well as her brothers, Michael, Tony and Louis Guerra. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date. Interment will be private.
