Gregory B. Moroz

Gregory B. Moroz "Greg," of Lewisburg, PA, age 64, passed away from a Heart Attack on July 6, 2013 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Born December 28, 1948 in Fort Bragg, NC, he was the son of the late Raymond Gregory and the late Virgina Blanche (Harris) Moroz.Greg retired as a System Programmer for the Department of Homeland Security. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and is a lifetime member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He enjoyed golfing, fishing and socializing with his fellow aphasia sufferer friends.Greg is survived by his wife Sandra L. Florent of Lewisburg, PA; daughter Kristina Moroz of Frederick, MD; stepdaughters Joy Schomig of Arnold, MD and Audrey Griffith of Watsontown, PA; Step-grandchildren Corwyn Fairman, Connor Morrison, Colin Griffith, Laura Schomig, Jason Schomig, and Cody Griffith and brother Albin L. Moroz of Frederick, MD.Family and Friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd. Clinton, MD on Friday, July 19 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon with Lee Gilchrest Officiating. Interment to follow at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery 11301 Crain Hwy. Cheltenham, MD. Pallbearers include, Lee Gilchrest, Sabino Molina, Ron Cathell, George Nabti, Carlisle Lindmark and Corwyn Fairman.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or charity of one's choice.
