MGrover Franklin Estep, 81, of Moultrie, GA., and formerly of Ocala, FL., died Monday, November 16, 2015, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie. Born August 28, 1934 in Winifrede, WV, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Estep and Achsa Kirk Estep. He served in the United States Marine Corps for ten years, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retired supervisor with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. Mr. Estep was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League. He was Past Post Commander of V.F.W. Post 4781 in Ocala, FL. He attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Louise Estep. Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Jackie Earl Hartman Estep of Moultrie; three daughters, Karen Joan Moore and Donald of Ellicott City, MD, Mary Ellen Estep of Tappahannock, VA and Heidi Louise Elborn and husband Wayne of Tappahannock, VA.; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala, FL. Further services at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Maryland with burial at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
