Gunther Horst Priester

Gunther H. Priester, 77, of Tracys Landing died on Sunday May 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Helsinki, Finland he was a son of the late Adolf and Fanny (Akerfelt) Priester. He was a veteran of both the Finnish and United States Armies. He was employed by Baltimore City as an EMT for sixteen years and he retired from the state of Kentucky after twenty-five years as a pharmacy assistant at the Kentucky State Penitentiary. Gunther is survived by three daughters: Virginia Pratt (Eddie), Christine Neese (Michael), and Sandra Priester; three grandchildren: Krystal, Amber, and Isaac; one great granddaughter: Abigail; three nieces: Tess, Martina, and Anika; and three nephews: Michael, Bobby, and Thorolf.
