H. BEATRICE PAYNE "Bee" (Age 93)On Thursday, January 5, 2006, of North Beach, MD. Mrs. Payne was born in Shepherdstown, WV on February 26, 1912. She is the beloved wife of the late George J. Payne; loving mother of B. Helen, George R. and David A. Payne; sister of Charlotte Bufton and Patricia Moyers; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 11. She was a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers. After 47 years she retired as a Supervisor with C&P Telephone Company in 1976. Family will receive friends at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, CALVERT, P.A., 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd (Rte 4 and Fowler Rd), Owings, MD on Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m., where a service will be held on Saturday, January 7 at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
