Harland Hanson Stockwell Harland Hanson Stockwell (AFMSgt retired) age 66, passed away January 22, 2005. Born in West Lebanon, New Hampshire on June 13, 1938.Harland was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Hildred (Pringle), three brothers; Donald and David of NH and Lewis of MA, five sisters; Jean, Madeline, Mary, Nellie Ann, and Susan of NH, He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Eleanor, two sons; Scott Allen, his wife June Steele, Children; Richard and Madeline of Lubbock, TX; John Albert, his wife Dina, Children; Candice Marie, Tyler Barry and Matthew Hanson of LaPlata, MD. He is also survived by three sisters; Christine Goodman, Carol Cook, and Linda Bergerson, brother-in-law Howard Patch, sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Mary and Bette, numerous nieces and nephew. He served in the USAF for 20 years. Was assigned to Thailand during the Vietnam War and served two tours in the Pentagon with the Joint Chiefs of Staff for which he was authorized to wear the Joint Chiefts of Staff Identification Badge. After retirement from the service, he worked some years as a warehouse manager with Maurice Electric (A family owned business) in Washington, DC. He was very proud of the company and strived to make it successful. He took time to listen to his co-workers with personal problems and always found solutions to help solve the problem. He was a loving husband and father . He served his country with honor. Any contributions should be made to the Heart Association or the Dibetic Association.
