Harold "Mick" C. Townshend, Jr.

Harold “Mick” Townshend, Jr., age 80, of Piscataway, MD, died December 14, 2013 at the Charlotte Hall Veteran’s Home. Born April 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Harold, Sr. and the late Catherine Townshend. Mick served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and spent two years in Mount Fuji, Japan. He retired from Banking after 43 years. He was an avid boater and loved spending time on the Bay. Mick is survived by his son Daniel and daughter-in-law Pamela; grandchildren Catherine and Daniel, Jr.; great grandchildren Evan, Charity, Zoe; brothers John and Edgar Townshend; and numerous other relatives and friends. Family and friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Clinton, MD on Thursday, December 19 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery Cheltenham.
