Hazel “Jean” Perry of Largo, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Walter Reed Medical Center, at the age of 81. She was born on August 16, 1935, in Washington, DC, to Josephine (Firmwalt) and Harry Corder. Jean was married to the love of her life, Thomas E. Perry, for over 63 years. She was a Navy wife and lived in, Washington, DC, Long Island, NY, Norfolk, VA, Imperial Beach, CA, Cuba, the Philippines, Japan and Okinawa. She has lived in Largo since 1968. She was a member of the Forest Memorial United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women’s Group. Her family was foremost in her life. Her love for them and her dogs made her life complete. Jean was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Perry and the loving mother of Debbie Hance and her husband Bruce. She was the devoted grandmother of Colin, Benjamin and his wife Rosa and Cody. She was the great-grandmother of Luke and sister of Ann Andrick, John “Buddy” Corder and Michael Corder. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Memorial United Methodist Church, 3111 Forestville Road, Forestville, MD 20747. Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
