Hazel E. Shackelford

Hazel E. Shackelford,\n \n 88, of Clinton, MD died on Wednesday December 7, 2011. Born in Washington, DC she was a daughter of the late Wade and Ethel (Moore) Hutchinson. She was employed as a telephone operator at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR where her favorite driver was Jimmy Johnson. She is survived by a son Wade A. Shackelford, a granddaughter Angela Noell, along with three great grandchildren, Jesse, Kelly, and Libby.\n \nA visitation will be held on Monday December 12, 2011 at Lee Funeral Home, Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD from 2:00 – 4:00PM and 6:00 – 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 1:00PM in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
