HELEN "LEE" BAUMAN On Saturday, April 28, 2007, Helen "Lee" Bauman, 74, died at her home in Chesapeake Beach, MD with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Bob Bauman; daughters, April Marie Bauman of Huntingtown, MD, Kathy Susan Bauman of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Barbara "Jo" Walls of Chesapeake Beach, MD; grandchildren, Cody, Chelsea, Brandon, and Samantha; and sister, Beverly "Claire" Vickery, of Wanachee, Washington. Helen was born on September 20, 1932 in Washington, DC. Her parents deceased when she was an adolescent and her sister, Claire and herself were raised by Catholic Nuns. She graduated from Catholic Prep School. Helen was a homemaker to her three daughters, enjoying being a school mom and team mom to each of her children. She was her daughters cheerleader and hero. Helen was also a member of Jesus the Divine Catholic Church in Huntingtown, MD.Family will receive friends at the LEE FUNERAL CALVERT, P.A., 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd., ( Rt.4 and Fowler Rd.,) Owings, MD, on Tuesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church, 885 Cox Rd., Huntingtown, MD, on Wednesday, May 2 at 12 Noon with Father Dan Leary officiating. Interment to follow at Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens in Port Republic, MD.
