Helen O. Bottamiller, age 93, of North Palm Beach, Florida passed away on July 20, 2021. She was born on February 28 1927 in Washington, DC to the late Charles Raymond Owens & Clara [Allen] Owens. Helen was a career woman of many different fields. She was a secretary for the federal government, a teacher for the Maryland/DC area, worked at NIH and Walter Reed Medical Center and was a transcriptionist for Florida Podiatrists. As a hobby, Helen enjoyed playing the piano. She was a pianist for several organizations: The Star, Daughters of the Nile and Amaranth. She was also a member of several other organizations: Daughters of America, The Moose Club and American Legion. Helen in survived by her three children: Christine B. Snedaker of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Wilbert O. Bottamiller, Jr (Kathy) of Henderson, NV and Douglas O. Bottamiller (Eileen) of Brookeville, MD; two grandchildren: Douglas Bottamiller (Jennifer) of Woodbine, MD and Colleen Leary (Christopher Michael) of Wilmington, NC; four great-grandchildren: Kate, Kylie and Douglas Bottamiller, Jr. and Christian Michael Leary, Jr; and her Shi Tzu dog, Mitzi.
