Helen Lee\n\n\nRuth Helen Lee passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, the 30th of October.\nBorn in 1923 in Roanoke, VA, to the late Reginald and Clara Hubbard, she was one of seven children. Known as Helen, she moved to the Washington, D.C. area where she met her husband of 61 years, Milton Lee. Helen was a kind woman with a generous heart, and a "feisty" spirit.\nShe is survived by her loving and devoted husband - Milton Lee, four children, - Marie O'Neil of Orange, VA, Terri Burke of Portland, OR, Carolyn Davis of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Reggie Lee of Sherman Oaks, CA, ten grandchildren - William White, Daniel White, David White and Kellee O'Neil, Jessie Burke-Cohen, Jeremiah Burke and Jaclyn Burke, Matthew Davis, Jake Davis and Samuel Davis, and nine great-grandchildren.\nMemorial gifts may be made in lieu of sending flowers to The Salvation Army-National Capital Area, 2626 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20037, www.salarmydc.org, or Wounded Warriors Project, 1120 G Street, NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005, woundedwarriorproject.org.\n\nA memorial service will be held on Monday, November 7th, 11:00 am, at Grace Brethren Church (Calvert), 9870 Old Solomons Island Road, Owings, MD (301/855-2955).
