Henrietta Lubetski Cooke of District Heights, MD passed away on November 11, 2014, at the age of 68.She was born on April 30,1946 in Washington, DC to the late Vincent W. and Anna (Schultz) Lubetski.Henrietta (Henri) enjoyed playing bingo with her daughter, working in the yard, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her cat Lyza. One thing Henri looked forward to and loved was the family vacations to Chincoteague Island, Virginia. Henri was "a true friend to all", but she was most proud to be a Grandmother! Family was the most significant priority in her life. Henri adored and was beloved by her precious grandchildren. Her passion was spending lots of time with them and spoiling them. She loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will forever be their “Aunt Bubba”. Henri had an enormous heart and was always very giving to all of her family and friends. The love she had for all will never go unremembered.Henri was retired from the Federal Government with the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. She contributed over forty years of service. This too was something she prided herself on.In addition to her parents, Henri was predeceased by her husband Wayne Barner Cooke.Henri is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Ann Cooke–Peshek, son-in-law Michael of Dunkirk, MD. A beloved brother Michael W. Lubetski, a loved sister-in-law Mary of Waldorf, MD. A sister, Frieda L. Malone of La Plata, MD. Two beautiful and beloved grandchildren, Lillian Reese and Willa Grace Peshek of Dunkirk, MD. Also numerous nieces and one nephew, and was a great aunt to a niece and nephew.
