Iola Cromwell Smalls, 75, of Fort Washington, MD passed away June 12, 2023.
Iola was born February 26, 1948 in Charleston, SC to parents Delia Gaillard Cromwell and Willie Cromwell. She worked as a clerk for the federal government for 36 years until her retirement in April 2006. Iola recieved an Associates Degree from Trident Technical College in South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Smalls, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Robert D. Smalls, and Leslie A. Smalls, grandson Robert A. Smalls and siblings the late Margaret, Betty, Joann, Helen and Clyde.
