James Frederick Cornett, Sr

James Frederick Cornett, Sr. age 64, of Prince Frederick, Maryland passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Patricia and three children, James Gearing, Jimmy Cornett, Jr. and Brandy Cornett, grandchildren, an uncle and cousins. He was predeceased by two children, Jason Gearing and Kevin Cornett.\nJames and Patricia resided in Prince Frederick over 20 years. Mr. Cornett retired from the Operating Engineers Local 77 in 2004. His hobbies included fishing, boating and tinkering with heavy machinery especially his bull dozer, excavator and truck, and playing golf. He placed 1st at the Full Gospel Baptist Church, in Holly County South Carolina, 2nd annual tournament in 2006 and 2nd place at the 3rd annual tournment in 2007. He also enjoyed traveling in his recreational vehicle. He was a big fan of Fox News which kept him imformed on all political matters.\nServices will be held on Thursday, December 30 10:00 am the funeral home with entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
