James Wallace Maupin

James “Jimmy” “Jim” Maupin passed away suddenly on September 5, 2023. He is predeceased by his mother, Leona Roberts Maupin, his father, Raymond Clarence Maupin, and his brother Steven Ray Maupin. He leaves behind his sister, Wanda Lea Fuller; his niece, Ersten Fuller; his companion, Robin Baranowski; and two stepdaughters, Angel Thorne, and Heather Irvine. In addition, he leaves a host of family and friends, who loved and respected him.

Jim retired from Washington Gas Company after 34 years of devoted service. He was an Emergency Responder and Master Plumber.

Jim belonged to the Waldorf Elks Lodge and the Calvert Marine Museum. He was an avid music lover and could play any instrument and knew every song. He loved to “piddle“ in his yard with his flowers and his pool.

Jimmy loved his family and friends dearly. He will be missed beyond words.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment is private.
