James K. Thompson

James K. Thompson 1941 - 2013 "Ken" James K. Thompson, 71, of Waldorf, MD on Monday February 18, 2013 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Born in Round Hill, VA he was a son of the late Jack and Aliene (Grimes) Thompson. He was married to Elizabeth A. (Gue) Thompson. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on June 26, 2012. He was a delivery driver for Dar Cars for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR races. He was very involved in and served as President for many years of the Eutaw Forest Archery Association and also was active in the Isaac Walton League, Waldorf Chapter where he served on the Board of Directors.Along with his wife he is survived by two sons, James K. Thompson Jr. (Melissa) and Tony Gue (Shannon), three daughters, Teri Thompson, Dawn Sellner, and Mary Thompson, and thirteen grandchildren. He also loved and will be missed by his many dogs and cats.
