James Victor Tipton

James V. Tipton (Major USAF.Ret) age 90, of Huntington, Maryland passed away on January 12, 2010, at the Calvert County Nursing Center, Prince Frederick, Maryland. For 50 years he was the beloved husband to the late Betty M. Tipton and a loving father to daughter, Annette Davisson and son, Anthony Tipton. He was a proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. James was retired from the United States Air Force and a member of the Retired Officers Association. He loved stamp collecting, growing a variety of vegetables and flowers in his garden and an avid Redskins football fan. \nFamily will receive friends on Tuesday, January 19, at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, PA; 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd; (Rt. 4 & Fowler Rd); Owings, Maryland.
