Janet Clare Trexler

Janet Clare Trexler, 66, of Waldorf, MD passed away August 24, 2023. 
Janet was born August 8, 1957 to the late Morgan Joseph and Dorothy G. (Tippett) Trexler in Washington, DC. She worked as a registered nurse and was a dedicated employee of Southern Maryland Hospital Center for 44 years. She touched many lives as a floor nurse, head nurse, and nursing supervisor. Her personality and humor were unforgettable. Her stories brightened everyone's life and she left a lasting impression. 
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister Christine Morrison. 
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Susan Cheseldine (Joseph), niece, Kathleen (aka Peanut) Cheseldine, brother-in-law Thomas Morrison, nephews Joseph Morrison (Jennifer), Michael Morrison (Christine), and David Morrison (Michelle) as well as many beloved great nieces and nephews, and her "four-legged children" Rocky and Bullwinkle. 

A memorial gathering will be held in honor and celebration of Janet's life Saturday August 26, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm, and 6:00-8:00pm at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd. Clinton, MD.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Bryantown Catholic Church on Monday August 28, 2023 at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Charles County.
