Janice Lee Groves

Janice Lee Moneymaker Groves passed away surrounded by family on May 21, 2021 at the age of 72. We remember and celebrate her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend – a woman who made the world a brighter and happier place with her infectious laugh and glowing smile. Mom will be truly missed, but never forgotten by the many lives she touched. She will continue to live through us all. Be kind, loving, understanding, and caring towards one another. Life is too short to let hate in your heart. Forgive and love, live your life to the fullest, and share your joy and your sorrow with those around you. Janice is survived by her devoted sons Chuck, Steve and Ernie with daughters-in law Colette, Sheila, and Missy. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Amanda (Austin), Clark (Katie), Andrew (Josie), Jacob, Michaela and Lillianne, her great-grandchildren Abigail and Colton, in addition to many other siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
