Janice E. Wells

Janice Eloise Wells of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Michael Wells and the devoted mother of Deborah Wells, sister of Charles N. Goode (Linda) and Jean M. McCracken (Ray) both of Indian Head, MD. She was the sister-in-law of James A. Wells, (Carolyn) of Lothian, MD and Mary Ann Bobbitt of Dayton, OH; and the Godmother of Vicki Renno of Lothian, MD. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Flora Pearl Chaney and Thomas Earl McDaniel. Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, December 3 from 2 to 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, at St. Joseph Center, 11700 Duley Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 on Friday, December 4 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735. NEW GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING VISITATION / SERVICES. - 50 to 75 people max at any given time in Funeral Home. - Limit visitation to 15 minutes in visitation room to allow for others to express their condolences. - Funeral Services in Chapel limited to 70 people with four (4) people per pew. - Masks and six foot social distancing still applies.
