Javonte M. Boddie went home to rest on February 25th, 2022 at the age of 33. He was born on April 1st, 1988 in Washington, DC to his mother Linda Boddie Peterson and Kenneth Peterson who raised him since he was 18 months old. He lived and grew up in the Oxon Hill and Temple Hills, MD area and attended Oxon Hill High School.
Javonte’s caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone he came in contact with. Javonte enjoyed watching football and loved deeply his Dallas Cowboys “Them Boys” and repped his squad proudly. Javonte was a proud Uncle, and shared a close relationship with his nephew Zari, where they would play fight, pull out the nerf guns, and always hang by the pool together. You could always find Javonte outdoors, enjoying fishing and crabbing on the ocean, his passion for cars; taking road trips or riding bikes. Most of all, you knew Javonte loved spending time with his friends and family claiming himself as the “Grill Master”, and everyone who knows him will agree.
Javonte is survived by his loving parents Kenneth and Linda Peterson; Gregory Hubbard Sr, His siblings Maiesha Peterson, Anthony Boddie, Chante Boddie, Latoya Rogers Gregory Hubbard, Jr. His grandparents Samuel and Claudette Boddie, Essie Peterson. His aunts and uncles Robin Bunch (Cory), James Peterson (Debra), Earthy Peterson (Patricia), Sharon Hailey (Jeff), and Carolyn Fleming. His nephew Zari Marable, Lastly, his loving special friend Dymond Stepherson and a host of many cousins and family friends.
