Jean Douglas

In loving memory of Jean Douglas, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, it is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing at the age of 70. Born on May 23, 1954, in Washington, DC, Jean's spirit and kind demeanor touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

She is survived by her devoted husband David Douglas and her loving children Christina (Nick) Turner and Brian (Erin) Douglas and grandchildren Colton and Carson Douglas, Wyatt and Reid Turner. As well a host of relatives and friends who will forever treasure the memories shared with her. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved parents Richard Parkerson, Dolores Parkerson and her twin sister Joan Echohawk.

 A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate the life of Jean Douglas is scheduled on July 23, 2024, at 12:30 pm at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD. Prior to the burial, a Funeral Service will be held at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A. on the same day at 11:00 am.

 In commemorating her life, we unite to bid farewell and honor the legacy of a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. May our tears of sorrow nourish the memories we hold dear, and may Jean's light continue to shine brightly in our hearts. 

Jean's final resting place will be at 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735, where her spirit can find eternal peace amongst the embrace of nature. Though Jean may have passed beyond our sight, her love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. In her memory, let us find solace, gratitude, and a celebration of a life well-lived. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
