Jean M. Mathieux

Jean Maurice Mathieux, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed on March 22, 2016 at the age of 48 years. Born in Cayes, Haiti on August 13, 1967 to Lucy Bateau and the late Prosper Mathieux. Jean attended Scott Community College in Iowa and completed his Bachelor’s Degree. Throughout his lifetime, he worked hard to take care of his family, ensuring they all get continuing education. Jean was successful as a business owner of a Shell Gasoline and Convenience Store franchise. What he enjoyed most was spending time laughing and playing with his children. Jean would want to be remembered for his incredible spirit and willingness to continue life, despite its adversities. His memory will never be forgotten as he touched many lives.
