Jeanne Marie Hawkins

Jeanne Marie Hawkins, 68, of Montross peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at home.Jeanne was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic church in Colonial Beach, loved traveling, bowling, animals and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Randy Hawkins; nephew, Mike Candido; nieces, Linda Pipta, Cathy Jones, Donna Candido and Christine Dunn and many cousins.Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Maura and Lena Candido, sister, Corrine Totten and brother, Peter CandidoThe family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. Oct. 7 at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Md.Jeanne's funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tues. Oct. 8 in Mt.Calvary Catholic church, Forestville, Md., with interment following in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Md.Memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, Hospice of Va., ASPCA.
