Jeannette Irene Coakley

Jeannette Irene Messina Coakley, 93, of Suitland, MD passed away on January 26, 2017. Born on January 29, 1923 in Washington D.C. to the late Antonio Messina and Pearl Warren. Jeannette retired from the Federal Government as an Investigative Clerk. She enjoyed cooking, especially Italian food, playing cards,crocheting, and most of all, being with her family. In addition to her parents, Jeannette is predeceased by her Husband, Paul E. Coakley. Brothers, Joseph Messina, and George Messina. Sister, Connie Messina McLaughlin. She is survived by her Daughter, Bonnie J. Carroll. Grandchildren, Kelli Scott and Husband David Scott, and Tammy Jo Carroll. 7 Great-Grandchildren, Michael Karis, Joseph “Danny” Karis, Brandie Karis, Austin Chewning, Jackson Chewning, David Scott, Jr. and Bailey Scott. 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, Robert Karis, Jaylen Holloway, and 1 on the way. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and Great-Nieces and Nephews and friends. Jeannette was a Christian woman who accepted the Lord at the age of 19, and has kept her faith her entire life.
