Jeannette Rutledge Hughes of Westminister, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at the age of 90. She was born in Hollywood, FL, on November 25, 1925, to Lillian and Edward Rutledge. Jeannette had many hobbies that included baking, crocheting and gardening. She loved to watch her flowers and garden come to life with great beauty. She had a great sense of humor and always had a beautiful smile. Spending time with her family was the most enjoyable time for her. Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late John Hughes, the loving mother of Robert Hughes and his wife Deborah and Susan Webb and her husband David. She was the devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Betty Negro and sister-in-law of Mary Anne Koutsoukas.
