Jens R. Jacobsen, Sr.\nOn April 5, 2010. The beloved husband of the late Bessie. Loving father of Jens R. Jacobsen, Jr. (Brenda), Michael E. Jacobsen (Deborah), Carolyn F. Lantz (Michael), Steven W. Jacobsen (Gloria) and Linda S. Canter. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.\nJens enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Brandywine Station Townhouse Association and a member of the American Legion Post 238.\nFamily and friends will be received on Thursday, April 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave. and Coventry Way where services will be held on Friday, April 16 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery Cheltenham, MD.
