Jessica "Jess" Renee Staff

With profound sadness we mourn the passing of our dear daughter, mother, sister, niece and friend, Jessica Renee Staff, “Jess” who entered into eternal peace on February 2, 2021 at the young age of 33. We are deeply saddened to see her go, and we know that she is at peace. Jess was born on a Tuesday, on June 23, 1987 in Silver Spring, MD to Elizabeth and Dennis Staff. She grew up a happy spirited child with a love for family and the beach. Jess lived most of her life in Dunkirk, MD. She was the baby girl in her family, with fiery red hair and eyes the color of the beautiful sea. Jess was feisty, bold and outspoken. She was deeply loved by her family. She had dreams. She was bubbly and loving. Jess attended Northern High School, and graduated in the Class of 2005. She worked a few different jobs after high school. Jess found her sparkle with the birth of her first baby girl, Rheann Lois. Jess was a good mom. Several years later more fairy dust sprinkled on her life with birth of her second baby girl, London Raine. Jess loved and cherished her two little girls with all of her heart. She was quick to laugh, was funny and outgoing. Jess was the girl with a kind and caring soul. She touched the lives of many people and always encouraged them to do their best. Jess will be remembered fondly in a number of ways. Whether it be her golden red hair, her kind heart, or her love for her children. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. Most Loving Mom of Rheann Lois and London Raine; Beloved daughter of Elizabeth and Dennis Staff; Dearest Sister of Dennis Staff and his wife Donna; Loving Niece of Doris, Lou, Paul, Violet, Bobby, Darla and Karen. Also survived by many cousins and extended family and friends. Family visitation will be at Lee Funeral Home at 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 10:30-12:00. Services officiated by Pastor Marilyn Lewis will be at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Southern Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk, MD. Pall bearers are Christopher Owens, Darnell Mason II, Tim Bock, Reginald L. James, Kevon Payne, and Stefan Francis. NEW GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING VISITATION / SERVICES. - 50 to 75 people max at any given time in Funeral Home. - Limit visitation to 15 minutes in visitation room to allow for others to express their condolences. - Funeral Services in Chapel limited to 70 people with four (4) people per pew. - Masks and six foot social distancing still applies.
