Jessie "Marie" Haynes

Jessie “Marie” Haynes, 98, of Solomons, MD, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Med Star St. Mary’s Hospital. La Plata, MD. She was born on February 17, 1919, in Washington, DC, to Jessie [Dunnington] and Augustus Herbert. Marie worked in the communications industry, for “Ma Bell”, as a manager for many years. She was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and Nationals, loved evenings out at local restaurants. She was a member of the D. A. R. and the American Legion. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Haynes and the loving aunt of nephew – Raymond L. Baldwin (Joan). She was the great-aunt of Raymond A. Baldwin (Traci), Sheila Mainhart (Steve) and Sharon Kranzler (Daniel). She is also survived my numerous other great-great-nieces and nephews.
