Joan A. Peake

Joan A. Peake,(age 67) of Ocean Pines, DE. formerly of Ft. Washington, MD, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 29,2008. She was born in Washington DC, daughter of the late Malcolm Stuat Beaton and Anna Mae (Shockency) Beaton. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post #7234 at Quillen\\'s Point in Ocean View,and the Elks Club and Moose Lodge. Joan was a people person and loved to socialize with her friends. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth S. Beaton and sister, Judith A. Ruby. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frederick Lee Peake, son Frederick "Pete" Lee Peake, Jr., daughter Kelly Ann Chick, granddaughter Sarah Chick and grandson Andrew D. Chick.
