John Henry Mitchell Jr.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, John Henry Mitchell, Jr, husband of Tanja, and loving father of two children, at the age of 56. John was born on December 22nd, 1963 in Raritan Township, New Jersey, the first child of John Henry Mitchell, Sr., and Gail Lois (Ullrich) Mitchell. His brother, Robert Lee Mitchell, and he were raised by their grandparents, George Wendell and Gladys Ullrich. He graduated from North Hunterdon High School with the class of 1982. He served in the United States Marine Corps for four years in the field of avionics. He was most recently employed by Dyncorp International, LLC at Joint Base Andrews. John was preceded in death by his mother, Gail. He is survived by his wife Tanja Katharina Mitchell with whom he has been together since September 1, 2012, daughters Rebekkah L. Mitchell and Rachel L. Mitchell, granddaughter Thea Olivia, stepson Daniel A.
