John W. Randall passed away peacefully August 26, 2016, at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marion L. Randall. After serving during WWII in England, with the 381st Bombardment Group 8th Air Force, John returned to Washington, DC and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1955. At that time he became self-employed operating Randall's Automotive and Crane Service until 1979. Entering into semi-retirement John joined the sales force of Lowe Chevrolet until his full retirement in 1983. John loved his family and giving back to his community. He was a Life Member of Forestville VFD No. 23, Forestville, MD; VFW Post 10131, Cape Canaveral, FL. He was a 55 year Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Washington, DC, Past Patron OES No. 61, Upper Marlboro, MD. In his later years, he volunteered at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida. He enjoyed being a Shriner at Almas Shrine Center, Washington, DC and Azan Shrine Center, Melbourne, FL. riding in the "Mini-Motors" so Kids can walk was a real joy to John. John is survived by his daughter, Marjorie "Marge" Clericuzio, sister Janie V. Raulerson, brothers Arthur L. (Linda Randall) and George Randall. OES and Masonic services will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2016 starting at 11:00am In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made in Johns name to Almas Shriners Center, Transportation Fund, 1315 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20005, or Daughters of the Nile Foundation, 6705 Mesa Dr., Austin, TX 78731.
