John Richard Sasiadek

John R. Sasiadek of Prince Frederick, MD, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Calvert Health Medical Center, at the age of 75. John was born on October 9, 1942, in Raleigh, NC, to Frank and Mae Sasiadek. John was the loving and cherished husband of Anita Sasiadek for 57 years of marriage. Along with his wife, he is also survived by his beloved brother James R. Sasiadek and wife Nancy, sister Joan Cangemi and husband John, brother-in-law Aldo Calvi and wife Kathy. A treasured Uncle to his nephews Anthony, Eric and Nyx Cangemi, Adam and Andrew Calvi. John was preceded in death by their only child John R. Sasiadek III and his parents. John loved all of his Dobermans in the past but his newest little dog, Trooper, captured his heart quickly and they became best buddies. John grew up in Montgomery County Maryland. A graduate of Wheaton High School, Class of 1960, he was a member of the ROTC Program. He also attended the University of Maryland. John enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of American Legion and enjoyed playing pool with his friends. He was an avid boater and loved to be on the water. He especially loved the rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. John had a passion for country music. He was a wonderful person and would always help someone in need in any way that he could. He was also generous, caring, funny, creative and always surrounded by an unlimited number of cherished friends.
