Johnnie Mae Dowdell, 71, of Southeast Washington, DC, passed peacefully on April 14, 2015. Born in Darlington, SC, she is the daughter of the late Maggie Nell and James C. Law. Beloved wife of the late John David Dowdell. Dear mother of Patricia (Orlando) Boston of Laurel, MD, Pamela (Larry) Lemons of Ft. Washington, MD and Christopher (Mary) Dowdell of Germantown, MD. Cherished grandmother of Bryson Boston, Brayden Boston, Melanie Lemons, Brian Lemons, Haley Dowdell, John Dowdell, Nicholas Dowdell and David Dowdell. Johnnie was pre-deceased by her brother, the late James C. Law. Jr. and her dearest aunt, the late Ruth E.
