Joseph Paul Brenneis1927 - 2014 Joseph Paul Brenneis, 87 formerly of Annapolis and Solomons Island, MD on Wednesday July 9, 2014 in Columbia, MD. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He retired from the Department of State after 30 years. He enjoyed tennis, biking, boating, and loved to travel. He is survived by a sister Ruth Poelma (Paul), nephew Richard Poelma (Cheryl) and two nieces Kathleen Snell (Terry) and Christine Zito.
