Joseph William Cocimano

Joseph “Joe” William Cocimano, age 79, of Edgewater, MD, passed away on Thursday evening, September 18, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.Joe was born in Washington, DC on May 11, 1935, to Antonio and Helen (Gallagher) Cocimano.He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and a retired D. C. Firefighter. He was a great cook, loved spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed, boating and a good game of Bocce ball. He was always willing to help others.Joe was the beloved husband for over 57 years to Ruth Cocimano. He was the loving father of Greg Cocimano and his wife Paula, Mike Cocimano, Terri Konoza, and the devoted grandfather to Anthony Konoza.
