Joseph Anthony DeChello

DeChello, Joseph “Joe” Anthony, 90, of Solomons, MD passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at his residence. He was the loving husband of the late Marjorie Golder DeChello whom he was married to for 64 years. He is also preceded in death by his son Anthony DeChello. 

He is survived by his son Steven and his wife Penny, grandchildren Crystal Holmes, Jennifer Mossburg, Devon Hayes, Anthony DeChello, and 5 great-grandchildren. Joe loved fishing, playing poker, football, socializing with friends, and going on trips with his son Steve. In his latter days Joe loved watching police shows and his favorite movies. Joe was also a veteran of the United States Air Force honorable serving for over 20 years retiring in 1973. Mr. DeChello went on to serve another honorable 20 years the Capital Police, Washington, D.C. 

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735 on Saturday, October, 26, 2024 from 9:30 am- 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the same morning at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, MD 20735 with Fr. Daniel Leary officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland
