Joseph Brady McLellan

Joseph Brady McLellan, age 66 of Mechanicsville, Maryland formerly of Davidsonville, Maryland passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at his home with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of 39 years to Suzanne M. McLellan and loving father of\nMr. McLellan moved to Mechanicsville 5 years ago from Davidsonville where he resided over 25 years. Growing up in Upper Marlboro he is the son of Richard X. and Kathryn Fitts McLellan. He graduated from DeMatha High School in 1961 and from the University of Maryland in 1970. He also worked for McLellan and Company of Upper Marlboro for a short time. He was a member of the Bowie Elks Lodge and the Upper Marlboro Moose Lodge. Mr. McLellan retired from the U.S. Justice Department in 2005 where he worked as a Program Analyst. His hobbies included boating and fishing, routing for University of Maryland Football, horseracing and boxing, but his family was the most important thing in his life.\nA Mass oif Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2009 at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church with Father John Dakis officiating.
