Joyce M. Griffin

Joyce M. Griffin, 74 of Camp Springs, MD, died on August 9, 2016. Born in Washington, DC the daughter of Dorothy and William Mathis. Joyce grew up in Southeast Washington, DC. She graduated from Oxon Hill High School, in Oxon Hill, MD. She met Glenn during her high school years and they married in 1959. She worked as a legal secretary for over 30 years, representing Fisher & Walcek Attorneys at Law, as well as Eugene Muskus Attorney at Law. Her primary interests during her life were her family, enjoying Maryland steamed crabs, the Washington Red Skins and Christmas. Beloved wife of the late Glenn M. Griffin, Jr.; devoted mother of Glenn Griffin (Julie) of Churchton, MD and Bill Griffin of Camp Springs, MD; loving sister of Jeanette Brown (Huck) of Lothian, MD, Billie Mathis of Clinton, MD, Judy Roach (Randy) of Brandywine, MD and the late Joan Santos; dear grandmother of Stephanie, Glenn, Austin and Danielle.
