Judith A Busky

Judith Ann (Short) Busky, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Heritage Village Memory Care in Gainesville, VA. Judith was born on September 1, 1938, in Pineville, WV to Willie Garnet Short and Mae Eliouse (Jarrell) Short. Judith began her career on Capitol Hill working as a secretary in the office of Congressman John Rooney (D-NY). She later went to work for the U.S. Census Bureau in the Human Resources office. She was a devoted homemaker, lovingly raising her family and creating a warm and welcoming home for neighbors. Judith is survived by her loving husband of almost 61 years, Henry; her sons, Michael, Steven, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Krista (Wright) Busky; and her grandchildren, Evan, Dominic, Nicholas, Matthew, Joshua and wife Maddy (Pora) Busky. Judith was predeceased by her brother, David Short.

Visiting hours for family and friends will take place from 1:00-5:00pm on Saturday, February 1 at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.
