Kathleen D. LeHew (Smoyer) 1936 - 2014 On January 11, 2014 of Capitol Heights, MD. Beloved wife of the late John H. LeHew Jr.; Mother of William LeHew Sr. (Marci) and John LeHew III; Grandmother to Terra Verge, Nova Johns (James Johns III), Amanda LeHew, and William LeHew Jr.; Great Grandmother to Thomas, Tevyn, Patrick, William Michael, James IV, Kahleen; Sister, Friend, and “Grandma Kate” to many. Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, Inc., Clinton, MD. Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be privately held at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the non-profit, Southern Maryland Vocational Industries, 8000 Parston Drive, Forestville, MD 20747 where her son, John LeHew III, resides.
