Kenneth A Barge, 74 of Dunkirk, MD passed away at his home on January 21, 2022. Born on April 11, 1947 at Annapolis General Hospital in Annapolis, MD. He was one of four sons and two daughters of the late John & Mary Ashline Barge. He grew up in Edgewater and graduated from the old Annapolis High School, now Maryland Hall in 1965. He enlisted in the Air Force right out of high school where he spent the next four years. After his discharge he held various jobs until he went to work at L.R. Willson & Sons as a crane operator for the next 38 years at which time he retired. He was an active member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship Church. He greeted his fellow members every Sunday and made each and every one of them feel welcome. As long serving trustee he was always the first to volunteer to help people. He also was a member of SMART (Saturday morning at round table) boys breakfast club. Having grown up on the water he loved fishing. Besides fishing on the bay, he loved ocean fishing traveling to Ocean City, Florida and Mexico. Kenny is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cynthia Bledsoe Barge, one sister, Jerrie Harrell and two brothers, Richard D. Barge and Stephen M. Barge, all of Edgewater. He was also the brother of the late John Michael Barge and Susan Barge Raulin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 7th, at Selby Beach Club in Mayo MD, from 11am to 3pm.
