Kent Davis

Kent Davis, born June 12, 1936 in Woodbine, NJ. He grew up in Cedarville, NJ where he played baseball and football for Millville High School with a team that went undefeated 38-0. At Millville High he met cheerleader Sara E. Felmey whom he married on July 23, 1955. After graduation he enlisted United States Air Force. Where he was first stationed at Loring Air Force Base, Maine. He later served in the Korean War from 1960-1961. He was also stationed at Homestead, FL during the Cuban missile crisis in 1962-1963. After 21 years of service to our country he retired from the 89th Presidential wing at Andrews Air Force Base. In 1976 He then went on to work for the Defense Investigative Service until retirement. He spent mornings after as an avid golfer and loved being at his boat with his wife and family.He is survived by daughters Nancy Lynn Taylor and Robin Davis Butler, granddaughters Gabrielle Ann, Tiffany Nichole, Jaimee Robin, and grandson Nicholas Beau. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Lexi, Dante, Jaegen, James, and Alena. He is predeceased by his wife of 56 years Sara Elizabeth Davis, brothers William Wesley Jr., Richard Davis and sister Phyllis Sheppard.
