Kevin Michael Barry, Jr., 57, Waldorf, MD\n \n \n \n Kevin Michael Barry, Jr., 57 of Waldorf died April 30, 2011, at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. Born June 28, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Kevin Michael Barry, Sr. and the late Joan Dolores Barry.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n He graduated from Bishop McNamara High School in 1971 and from the University of Maryland in 1977 with a degree in Business Management. In 1980 he started his own carpet business, “Barry Carpet Service”. His carpet business was a success for 25 years. He was a sports fanatic and his favorite team was the Washington Redskins. Kevin enjoyed attending concerts and loved listening to rock-n-roll and rhythm and blues music. He also enjoyed his poker night with his life long friends, watching TV and his dogs. Kevin was famous for his jokes and all family and friends knew him as KB.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n In addition to his father, he is survived by Cherie, his daughter Alison Cadden, her husband Christoper Cadden, of Lusby, his son Brian Barry, his fiance Melanie Richards of Waldorf, grandson Jacob Cadden, sister Dolores Heil of Illinois, and sister Maureen Mussler, her husband Steve of Frederick, MD, and nieces and nephews.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, MD on Wednesday, May 4 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 11:00am at St. John's Evangelist Church in Clinton, MD.
