Kimberly Lee Becraft

On Friday, February 24, 1961 Kimberly L. Becraft was born in Cheverly, Maryland. Raised in Calvert County, Kim developed into a loving, tender, family oriented woman. As a mother of three, grandmother of ten, and maternal figure to many, she dedicated herself to her family and profession.In 2008, Kim was diagnosed with cancer. Though dealing with tragic circumstances, she remained diligent in her career, driving herself from work to chemotherapy every day. During this time, she managed to attend all holiday and family gatherings with an incandescent smile on her face and a camera in her hands to capture beautiful moments.On Monday, April 15, 2013 Kim deepened her religious walk by giving her life to Christ. Though she battled cancer valiantly and fearlessly, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 Kim went on to glory. She left behind a passionately faithful family and extensive hospital bills. The Becraft family is asking for donations, small or large, to help cover her medical costs.After losing such an integral piece of the Becraft family fabric, these contributions won't replace a mother's love, a grandmother's love, or heal deep wounds; however it can help to alleviate some of the financial stress that such a tragic death can put on a family.The Becraft family is asking for your help to give their matriarch, Kimberly L.
