Kirsten was born on November 20, 1951 to John and Donna Bigbee in Queens, New York.  The Bigbee family then relocated to the Washington, D.C. area.  When Kirsten was young, her mother passed away and her father John later remarried Dolores (aka “Penny”) Pendelton.  Kirsten graduated from Suitland High School in Maryland.  After graduation, she married her husband Donald Morisi and they raised 3 sons together:  Donald Jr., John, and Michael.

In 1978, the Morisi’s moved to Calvert County to raise their family.  Kirsten worked as an office manager for many years at Pyramid Printing in Hyattsville, Maryland and then later in Clinton, Maryland where the business relocated.  After Pyramid Printing closed its doors in 2005, Kirsten became the caretaker of her step-mother Penny and her younger brother Johnny until their deaths in 2007 and 2013, respectively.

Kirsten is survived by her husband Donald, son Donald Jr. and wife Janeen, son John and wife Leanne, and son Michael.  She is also survived by grandchildren Ashley and husband Dylan, Nicholas, Meagan, and Katie as well as great-grandchildren Brayden, Carson, Oaklynn and one on the way.

Kirsten loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed traveling to visit them, she also enjoyed trips to the beach, playing Yahtzee, and singing with her grand kids.  She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, and fabulous story telling.  She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Calvert County Maryland.  Time and date: TBD
