Kris Francis McCarthy

Kris McCarthy of Huntingtown, MD passed away on September 5, 2012. He was born on December 8, 1966 in Washington, D.C. to Helen Frances Goetzger McCarthy and the late Thomas Francis McCarthy. Kris graduated from Dematha High School in 1985. He was a foreman and pipefitter for Livingston Fire Protection. Kris met his wife Joy while dancing at the Cancun Cantina in Hanover. They were married on July 24, 1999 and blessed with three beautiful children. Kris was a loving husband and father who loved spending time at sports events with his kids, country dancing with his wife, watching the Redskins and golfing with his family and friends. Kris is survived by his wife Joy, children Cole, Carson and Carly; mother Helen McCarthy; siblings Kim Coakley (Brian), Kyle McCarthy, Kerry McCarthy, Karen Jez (Kevin), Kellie Colliflower (Tommy); In-laws Ritchie and Bonnie McGuffin; Brother-In-Law John McGuffin (Michelle) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
