Lallier Gabriel Griggs, “Butch”, age 63, of Shady Side, MD died on July 16, 2014. Loving father of Dawn Baker of Elizabethton, TN, Devan Wallace (Charles) of Winchester, Va, and Darrah McFetridge of Elizabethton, TN. Grandfather of Ashley Cook, Jordan Wilson, Dylan Wallace, Hailey and Isabella McFetridge, and Madisyn Wallace. Brother to Joseph Collins and Sis Charlotte. Predeceased by his wife Sandra Faye Griggs, his mother Peggy Griggs, and his grandson Charles Hamilton IIIButch was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens football team. Some of his favorite activities included shooting guns and watching NASCAR. Butch was proud to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He was part of the 11th Air Calvary Regiment (ACR). Butch enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. Whether it was having drink with his brother or being around his daughters and grandchildren.
