Lavaughn Helen Byrd

LAVAUGHN HELEN BYRD of Bryans Road, MD passed away at the University of Maryland Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth McCray, and the wife of the late John D. Byrd. She was also preceded in death by two sons (John A. Byrd and Reginald Byrd) and a brother (Ed McCray). She was a strong, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Ernest William McCray (Gerri); three daughters: Andrea Fowler, Priscilla Hunt and Thea Agee (Rickie); 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
